" Si je marche dans la vallée de l'ombre de la mort, je ne crains aucun mal, car tu es avec moi ; ta houlette et ton bâton me rassurent." (Psaume 23:4)
Ne doit-il pas y avoir de la lumière là où il y a de l'ombre ? Peut-on avoir une ombre sans lumière ? Si tu en doutes, descends dans la cave pour la nuit sans lumière, et trouve ton ombre si tu le peux. Tout ce que la mort peut faire à un vrai croyant est de jeter une ombre sur son chemin. Les ombres ne font jamais de mal à personne. Vous pouvez les traverser comme vous pouvez traverser le brouillard.
Il n'y a rien à craindre. Je plains au plus profond de mon coeur tout homme ou femme qui vit sous l'emprise de la mort ! Si vous êtes sous cet esclavage, que Dieu vous en fasse sortir aujourd'hui ! Que vous sortiez directement dans la liberté du bienheureux évangile du Fils de Dieu !

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4)
Must not there be light where there is shadow? Can you get a shadow without light? If you doubt it, go down into the cellar to-night without a light, and find your shadow if you can. All that death can do to a true believer is to throw a shadow across his path. Shadows never hurt any one. You can walk right through them as you can through fog.
There is nothing to fear. I pity down deep in my heart any man or woman that lives under the bondage of death! If you are under it, may God bring you out to-day! May you come right out into the liberty of the blessed gospel of the Son of God!
