Vraie joie

"Il y a de la joie en présence des anges de Dieu pour un seul pécheur qui se repent." (Luc 15:10)

"La JOIE en présence des anges" ? Peut-être que les amis qui ont quitté les rivages du temps nous regardent de haut ; et quand ils voient celui pour lequel ils ont prié pendant leur séjour sur terre se tourner vers Dieu, cela envoie un frisson de joie dans leur cœur même.

Même maintenant, une mère qui est montée là-haut peut regarder un fils ou une fille, et si cet enfant devait dire "Je rencontrerai ma mère, je me déciderai pour Dieu", la nouvelle, à la vitesse d'un rayon de soleil, atteint le ciel, et cette mère peut alors se réjouir, comme nous le lisons, "En présence des anges".

"There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."(Luke 15:10)

“JOY in the presence of the angels”? Perhaps the friends who have left the shores of time may be looking down upon us; and when they see one they prayed for while on earth turning to God, it sends a thrill of joy to their very hearts.

Even now, some mother who has gone up yonder may be looking down upon a son or daughter, and if that child should say: “I will meet that mother of mine; I will decide for God,” the news, with the speed of a sunbeam, reaches heaven, and that mother may then rejoice, as we read, “In the presence of the angels.”
