Lorsque j'étais en Angleterre en 1867, un ami m'a présenté par hasard un homme de Dublin. Faisant allusion à moi, ce dernier m'a dit : "Ce jeune homme est-il tout O O ?" L'homme de Londres a répondu : "Que voulez-vous dire par O O ?" L'homme de Dublin répondit : "Est-il tout à fait hors d'atteinte du Christ ?" Je vous le dis, il a brûlé dans mon âme. Cela signifie beaucoup d'être O O pour le Christ.

When I was in England in 1867, a friend happened to introduce me to a man from Dublin. Alluding to me, the latter said, “Is this young man all O O?” Said the London man, “What do you mean by O O?” Replied the Dublin man, “ls he Out-and-Out for Christ?” I tell you it burned down into my soul. It means a good deal to be O O for Christ.
