Je pense qu'il y a une différence entre le bonheur et la joie. Le bonheur est causé par des choses qui se produisent autour de moi, et les circonstances vont le gâcher, mais la joie coule à travers les ennuis, la joie coule dans l'obscurité, la joie coule dans la nuit comme dans le jour, la joie coule tout au long de la persécution et de l'opposition, c'est une fontaine incessante qui bouillonne dans le cœur, une source secrète que le monde ne peut pas voir et dont il ne sait rien. Le Seigneur donne à son peuple une joie perpétuelle lorsqu'il marche dans l'obéissance.

I think there is a difference between happiness and joy. Happiness is caused by things which happen around me, and circumstances will mar it, but joy flows right on through trouble; joy flows on through the dark; joy flows in the night as well as in the day; joy flows all through persecution and opposition; it is an unceasing fountain bubbling up in the heart; a secret spring which the world can’t see and don’t know anything about. The Lord gives His people perpetual joy when they walk in obedience to Him.
