La vraie paix

Comme la mer agitée, quand elle ne peut pas se reposer. (Esaïe 57:20)

La seule chose qui peut nous empêcher de vivre en paix est le péché. Dieu renverse la voie des méchants. Il n'y a pas de paix pour les méchants, dit mon Dieu. Ils sont comme la mer agitée qui ne peut se reposer, rejetant sans cesse la saleté et la boue ; mais la paix avec Dieu par la foi en Jésus-Christ - la paix par la connaissance du péché pardonné, est comme un rocher ; les eaux se précipitent et déferlent, mais elles demeurent.

Like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest. (Isaiah 57:20)

The only thing that can keep us from peace is sin. God turneth the way of the wicked upside down. There is no peace for the wicked, saith my God. They are like the troubled sea that cannot rest, casting up filth and mire all the while; but peace with God by faith in Jesus Christ—peace through the knowledge of forgiven sin, is like a rock; the waters go dashing and surging past, but it abides.
