Trois en 1

Il y en a trois qui sont inscrits dans le ciel, le Père, le Verbe et le Saint-Esprit, et ces trois-là ne font qu'un. (1 Jean 5:7)

Par le Père, on entend la première Personne, le Christ, le Verbe est la deuxième, et le Saint-Esprit, remplissant parfaitement sa propre fonction et son travail en union avec le Père et le Fils, est la troisième. Je trouve clairement présenté dans ma Bible, que le Dieu unique qui exige mon amour, mon service et mon adoration, s'y est révélé, et que chacun de ces trois noms de Père, de Fils et de Saint-Esprit a une personnalité qui lui est propre.

C'est pourquoi nous trouvons certaines choses attribuées à Dieu en tant que Père, d'autres à Dieu en tant que Sauveur, et d'autres encore à Dieu en tant que Consolateur et Enseignant. Il a été remarqué que le Père planifie, le Fils exécute et le Saint-Esprit applique. Mais je crois aussi qu'ils planifient et travaillent ensemble.

There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one. (1 John 5:7)

By the Father is meant the first Person, Christ, the Word is the second, and the Holy Spirit, perfectly fulfilling His own office and work in union with the Father and the Son, is the third. I find clearly presented in my Bible, that the One God who demands my love, service and worship, has there revealed Himself, and that each of those three names of Father, Son and Holy Ghost has personality attached to them.

Therefore we find some things ascribed to God as Father, some to God as Saviour, and some to God as Comforter and Teacher. It has been remarked that the Father plans, the Son executes, and the Holy Spirit applies. But I also believe they plan and work together.
