Aux pieds de Jésus

Comme ils ne pouvaient pas s'approcher de lui pour la presse, ils découvrirent le toit où il se trouvait et, après l'avoir démoli, ils descendirent le lit où gisaient les malades de la paralysie. (Marc 2:4)

Ces quatre amis étaient terriblement sérieux. Ils laissèrent descendre dans la chambre le cercueil sur lequel l'homme était couché. Ils déposèrent leur ami aux pieds de Jésus-Christ ; un bon endroit pour le coucher, n'est-ce pas ?

Peut-être avez-vous un fils sceptique ou un mari incroyant, ou un autre membre de votre famille, qui se moque de la Bible et se moque du christianisme. Posez-les aux pieds de Jésus, et il honorera votre foi.

And when they could not come nigh unto Him for the press, they uncovered the roof where He was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. (Mark 2:4)

These four friends were terribly in earnest. They let the bier, on which the man was lying, down into the room. They laid their friend right at the feet of Jesus Christ; a good place to lay him, was it not?

Perhaps you have a skeptical son or an unbelieving husband, or some other member of your family, that scoffs at the Bible and sneers at Christianity. Lay them at the feet of Jesus, and He will honor your faith.
