Réveille-toi

Réveille-toi, toi qui dors, et ressuscite d'entre les morts, et le Christ te donnera la lumière. (Ephésiens 5,14)

Si l'on veut que les perdus soient atteints par l'évangile du Fils de Dieu, le christianisme doit être plus agressif que par le passé. Nous avons été sur la défensive assez longtemps ; le temps est venu pour nous d'entrer dans une guerre d'agression. 

Lorsque nous, enfants de Dieu, nous nous réveillerons et irons travailler dans la vigne, alors ceux qui vivent dans la méchanceté tout autour de nous seront atteints ; mais pas d'une autre manière. 

Vous pouvez aller aux réunions de masse et discuter de la question : "Comment atteindre les masses ?", mais une fois la discussion terminée, il faut revenir à l'effort personnel. Chaque homme et chaque femme qui aime le Seigneur Jésus-Christ doit se réveiller au fait qu'il ou elle a une mission dans le monde, dans ce travail d'atteindre les perdus.

If the lost are to be reached by the gospel of the Son of God, Christianity must be more aggressive than it has been in the past. We have been on the defensive long enough; the time has come for us to enter on a war of aggression. 

When we as children of God wake up and go to work in the vineyard, then those who are living in wickedness all about us will be reached; but not in any other way. 

You may go to mass meetings and discuss the question: "How to reach the masses," but when you have done with discussion you have to go back to personal effort. Every man and woman who loves the Lord Jesus Christ must wake up to the fact that he or she has a mission in the world, in this work of reaching the lost.
