Au travail !

Si ce monde doit être atteint, je suis convaincu que cela doit être fait par des hommes et des femmes de talent moyen. Après tout, il y a relativement peu de personnes dans le monde qui ont de grands talents. Voici un homme qui a un talent ; il y en a un autre qui en a trois ; peut-être que je n'ai qu'un demi-talent.

Mais si nous allons tous travailler et faire du commerce avec les dons que nous avons, le Seigneur nous fera prospérer, et nous pourrons doubler ou tripler nos talents. Ce dont nous avons besoin, c'est d'être debout et de nous occuper du travail de notre Maître, chacun construisant contre sa propre maison. Plus nous utiliserons les moyens et les possibilités dont nous disposons, plus notre capacité et nos possibilités seront accrues.

If this world is going to be reached, I am convinced it must be done by men and women of average talent. After all, there are comparatively few people in the world who have great talents. Here is a man with one talent; there is another with three; perhaps I may have only half a talent.

But if we all go to work and trade with the gifts we have, the Lord will prosper us, and we may double or triple our talents. What we need is to be up and about our Master’s work, every man building against his own house. The more we use the means and opportunities we have, the more will our ability and our opportunities be increased.
