Le péché dans mon coeur

" Si je regarde l'iniquité dans mon coeur, le Seigneur ne m'écoutera pas."(Psaumes 66:18)

Je tremble parfois lorsque j'entends les gens citer des promesses, et dire que Dieu est tenu de tenir ces promesses à leur égard, alors que tout le temps il y a un péché dans leur vie qu'ils ne sont pas prêts à abandonner. Il est bon pour nous de fouiller nos cœurs, et de découvrir pourquoi nos prières ne sont pas exaucées.

I sometimes tremble when I hear people quote promises, and say that God is bound to fulfill those promises to them, when all the time there is some sin in their lives they are not willing to give up. It is well for us to search our hearts, and find out why it is that our prayers are not answered.
