Lumière

Je suis la lumière du monde (Jean 8:12)

J'ai entendu parler d'un infidèle qui a dit un jour : "Regarde ton converti, c'est du clair de lune". Le jeune converti lui a répondu : "Je vous remercie pour le compliment. Nous sommes tout à fait disposés à être appelés ainsi. La lune emprunte la lumière du soleil, et nous empruntons donc la nôtre au Christ ».

I heard of an infidel once who said, “Look at your convert; it is all moonshine.” The young convert replied to him, “I thank you for the compliment. We are perfectly willing to be called that. The moon borrows the light from the sun, and so we borrow ours from Christ.”
